The much anticipated Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University is a realty now and is all set to boost the aviation industry in the country as the University will start functioning from this month. The primary motive behind the setting up of this aviation varsity is to facilitate and promote the aviation studies and research.
Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University is the first aviation university in the country, which is going to be inaugurated on 18th August, 2017 by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Civil Aviation Minister. Spread across an area of 5 acres of land, The Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University is located in the extended campus of Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademy (IGRUA), in Fursatganj area.
The Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University is the largest Aviation University in Asia. The government has spent almost 200 crore on the university, which is also only the second Aviation University in Asia after Singapore. The university will offer Under Graduate, Post Graduate, Post Graduate Diploma and research courses for students. The University nourishes the dreams of every student who aspire to become aerospace/rocket engineers, aspiring pilots, Aircraft Maintenance Technicians/engineers and cabin/ground crew.
Now, all those flying institutions that prevail in the country will be affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University.
