Punjab Patwari Answer Key released for 20 November Exam

As of the now, the Patwari answer key has been released, but the objection format is yet to be out. The candidates can access the official answer key at recruitment portal.

The Patwari exam has been conducted in Punjab on Sunday, November 20, in which over 1.5 lakh candidates have appeared. The exam was peacefully conducted across all the districts and the candidates will be able to access Punjab Patwari answer key soon. Check below for more details.

Directorate of Land Records, Punjab issued an official notification on September 10 for inviting applications for Patwari posts on the behalf of Department of Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management and Department of Irrigation, Punjab. The vacancies include 1,227 posts of Revenue Patwari and 857 Canal Patwari posts. The selection process to appoint eligible candidates to these posts include only a written exam that has been conducted this Sunday.

The candidates are required to secure a place in the merit list based on the written exam. The Patwari exam was conducted in a single shift of two hours from 11 am to 1 pm and consisted 100 objective type questions. The questions were divided among General Knowledge, Mental Ability, Arithmetic Skills, English Language, Punjabi Language, Computer/Information Technology, Agriculture and Punjab History & Culture. The admit cards of Punjab Patwari exam were issued on November 10.

The last Patwari exam was organized in the State one year ago, however, it was cancelled later. As soon as the notification for a fresh exam was notified, the aspirants flooded with the applications. As per the earlier reports, as much as 80 percent applicants have appeared for the exam held on November 20. Many candidates said the paper was quite lengthy and while the general knowledge section was easy, many candidates faced difficulty in solving mental ability and arithmetic sections.

To avoid controversy, the candidates were provided with three copies of OMR answer sheet, including one original copy and other two- office copy and candidate copy. The candidates were allowed to take question paper and OMR answer sheet after the conclusion of the exam. As far as the Patwari answer key is concerned, the authroties are expected to release the same soon. The candidates will be able to access the answer key, once available, at the official website punjabrevenue.nic.in.

The Directorate of Land Records will shortlist the candidates based on the cut off marks and will call such candidates for document verification. The cut-off marks will be available soon.
