PTET admit card 2017 released at www.ptet2017.com, download now

09:15 AM Update 10 May: The admit card of PTET 2017 have been issued to the candidates by MDSU. Candidates can now download their PTET admit card from the website www.ptet2017.com. MDSU will be holding the Rajasthan Pre Teacher Education Test (PTET) 2017 on May 14, for which the admit cards will be issued today.

Over 2.3 lakh candidates have applied for the entrance test and have been waiting for the release of  PTET admit card 2017. As it has been confirmed from various sources, the admit cards will be uploaded on the official website today i.e. on May 9. Once available, the candidates will be able to download PTET 2017 admit card from www.ptet2017.com.

Rajasthan Pre Teachers Education/ Entrance Test, commonly known as PTET is organized each year for facilitating admissions in the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program. For the academic session 2017-18, the PTET qualified candidates will be eligible for admissions in 2-year B.Ed. course. The University will also hold B.A./ B.Sc. B.Ed entrance examination on 14th May for admissions in 4-year B.A. B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed. courses.

Approximately 2.30 lakh candidates will be appearing for Rajasthan PTET 2017 paper, while around 32 thousand will take the B.A./ B.Sc. B.Ed. entrance test. The tests will be conducted in two different sessions, with the B.A./ B.Sc. B.Ed. entrance test in the morning shift (9 am to 12 noon) to be followed by the PTET 2017 exam in the evening shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. The candidates can download their respective test admit card from the PTET web portal by entering their registration details.

MDSU has set up 62 test centers for the B.A./ B.Sc. B.Ed. entrance test, while PTET 2017 will be organized at around 602 test centers across the State, as the number of candidates is too high. The entrance test will facilitate admissions in around 90 thousand seats.

PTET 2017 exam will be conducted as a single paper having 200 multiple choice questions. The questions will be equally distributed among four sections: Mental Ability, Teaching Attitude & Aptitude Test, General Awareness and Language Proficiency (Hindi/ English). Based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance test, MDSU Ajmer will draw the merit list which will be used for admission purposes. The merit list will be declared along with the test results in a month after the conduct of the test.
