Constable Final Exam Key Released by TSLPRB

Update at 10 PM, October 25 : TSLPRB Constable Final Exam Key has been released today as reported. The exam key is available now for all four sets of question paper and the candidates can also submit the objections if they find any wrong answer in the key released by the Board.

TSLPRB (Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board) will release key to Constable Mains written exam that was held on October 23 in 1-2 days. About 80 thousand candidates had appeared for TSLPRB constable mains exam 2016. The final written examination (Constable) was organised in one shift (10 am to 1 pm) across all 10 districts of Telangana.

TSLPRBAfter the conclusion of the written exam, a press release was issued by TSLPRB Chairman stating that 99.65 percent attendance was recorded in the exam held on 23 October. The whole exam process concluded peacefully as no untoward incident was reported. It is expected that the Constable exam key will be released in a day or two. The board has issued answer keys within 2-3 days of holding of any exam in the past too.

The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) organised the final written examination as the last part of the selection process. The preliminary written test, physical measurement test and physical efficiency tests were already held and a total of 81,357 candidates were issued hall tickets for final written exam. 287 candidates were reported absent in today’s exam as 81,070 candidates appeared for the exam collectively across all test venues.

The final written exam for Constable (Civil) and Firemen was of 200 marks, while it was of 100 marks for other posts. TSLPRB had already announced that the candidates belonging to general category are required to obtain minimum 40 percent marks in the final exam to become eligible for the final selection. The qualifying criteria for BCs and SC/STs/Ex-Servicemen is 35 percent and 30 percent respectively.

The Board would release the preliminary key of final written exam and the candidates would also be asked to submit their objections against the answer key. The final key would be released after the announcement of result. The final merit list would be prepared separately for all posts as the merit list for Constable (Civil) & Firemen posts will be prepared on the basis of final written exam only (out of 200 marks), while for others, it would be out of 175 marks – on the basis of physical efficiency test (75 marks) and final written exam (100 marks).

The finally selected candidates will be eligible for appointment to 8,865 posts of SCT Police Constables (Civil/AR/SAR/TSSP) in Police Department & Constables in SPF Department and 416 posts of Firemen in TS Disaster Response & Fire Services Department.
