OUAT 2017 application forms released

OUAT 2017The online application Form-A of OUAT 2017, the entrance exam conducted by Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology has begun from April 1, 2017 and will end on May 10, 2017 at 4 pm. The OUAT entrance examination is scheduled to be held on June 04, 2017 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Submission of Form “B” will commence from June 08, 2017 to June 22, 2017.

Counselling and admission will begin from July 17, 2017 and will end on July 21, 2017. Admission of state govt. sponsored candidates will be held on July 22, 2017. The session will begin from July 24, 2017.

The interested pass out and continuing 2nd year students of Diploma in AgroPolytechnic courses of OUAT can apply online for admission in Under Graduate courses at the official website by clicking a link “Submission of Application Form-A for Common Entrance Examination-2017.” At the time of submission of online application, the candidate has to fill in the particulars such as correct Aadhaar number (Aadhaar number is mandatory for submission of Application Form-A), e-mail ID, Mobile phone number. The candidates have to upload  his/her recent passport size colour photograph (Height: 200px, width: 150px, file size: 20-50kb), full signature (Height: 100px, width: 150px, file size: 10-20kb) in jpg/jpeg format.

After the declaration of result of Diploma in Agro-Polytechnic under OUAT, candidate should access Form-B on the official website.

Application Fee: The candidate has to pay Rs. 1050.00 (Rupees one thousand fifty only) for application fees to the University via any of the two methods: Online and Offline. Online application fee can be paid using internet banking, debit or credit card. Payment in cash can be made through Common Service Centre.

The Entrance Examination will be of multiple choice question (MCQ) for 200 marks of two hours duration and the medium of Examination will be English. Candidates are to answer Physics, Chemistry and either Mathematics or Biology. There is no negative marking for wrong answer. Physics and chemistry carry 66 marks each while biology/mathematics carries 68 marks.

Weightage: Weighted score of candidates will be calculated on the basis of his/her academic career and Entrance Examination as given: H.S.C/Equivalent: 25%, +2 S.C/Equivalent: 25% and Entrance Examination: 50%.

Selection Process: The candidates for admission will be selected solely on the basis of Merit (Weighted Score) which is based on his/her academic career and performance in the entrance examination.

The University offers education at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels in Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Fishery Science, Community Science & Forestry in the semester system.
