OJEE mock allotment 2017, mock seat allocation result will be declared after 4 pm today, Odisha Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Cell had said. The mock allotment is for admissions to B.Tech course based on JEE Main 2017. There are around 44,000 seats in B.Tech courses, of which private engineering colleges hold 38,698 seats. The candidates can check OJEE mock seat allotment result from the official website www.ojee.nic.in after 4 pm on 23rd June.
OJEE B.Tech mock seat allotment is being done so that the candidates can know the allotment status of his/ her as per the choices filled by them. By seeing the mock allotment result, the candidates can make alterations in their choices as per the preference, if it is required. The mock seat allotment will be based on the choices filled by the candidates as of 22nd June, 4 pm. OJEE mock seat allotment result will be out at 4 pm on Friday.
The JEE Main 2017 qualified candidates were notified about the commencement of OJEE counselling 2017 as the admissions in the first year of B.Tech course offered in the technical institutions of Odisha will be done through JEE Main result only. The facility of online registration for Odisha JEE counselling 2017 was opened on June 14. The candidates had to register themselves, pay counselling fee and fill the choices of institutes & courses at the counselling website www.ojee.nic.in.
OJEE mock seat allotment will help the applicants make better choices as it will show the allotment status as per their rank. The applicants will have to lock the choices on or before June 27, based on which the allotments will be done for actual admissions. The last registration and choice filling for OJEE counselling 2017 will be accepted up to June 27, 11.59 pm. The candidates will have to lock the final choices after the publication of mock seat allotment, they can also take the printout of locked choices for reference purpose.
Based on the locked choices, the temporary allotment – 1 will be published on 1st July. The candidates allotted a seat will have to pay the admission fee and report to the allotted college within July 5 to 11. Such candidates will have to report at the assigned nodal center for verification of their respective documents. The candidates who will not be allotted any seat, should wait for further results of subsequent rounds.
The admission fee to be paid after allotment has been revised as Rs. 10,000, earlier the candidates were required to pay Rs. 25,000 as part admission fee. The fee includes University registration fee and part admission fee to be paid against the allotted institute. The decision to slash the admission fee has been taken in the interest of students, OJEE Chairman said through a press note. The fee can be paid through online mode (Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card) or offline mode through SBI or Axis Bank.
