Odisha OJEE MBBS Counselling 2017 Second Round result at 10 am today

OJEE MBBS counselling 2017 is coming to an end as the second round allotment result will be declared today for remaining seats in MBBS and BDS courses. As per the admission process, OJEE has to hold Odisha MBBS counselling 2017 in two rounds for admitting students to Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses through National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET-UG 2017).

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board will publish the OJEE MBBS second allotment result today at 10 a.m. All the NEET UG 2017 qualified candidates who come under the list of 85% state quota seats and were not allotted seats in the first round can check the second allotment results from the official website ojee.nic.in.

There are total 1,100 seats including All India Quota and State Quota in MBBS and BDS courses in Odisha. Earlier, the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board declared the first allotment result for all the 85% state quota seats where a total of 736 seats were allotted out of 937 total seats in the state quota. The allotment to MBBS and BDS courses is being done as per the Odisha NEET merit list.

The allotment result of the remaining 201 seats under state quota will be published today, out of which 109 seats belong to unreserved categories. The vacant seats are available at eight private colleges and all government institute of the State. It is important to know that after the completion of allotment of 15% All India Quota seats by MCC, 33 seats in Odisha were still left to be filled. And, now these 33 seats are added to the list of State Quota which increases the number to 234 seats, the allotment of which will be declared in the second round.

Candidates can download the provisional allotment/admission letter on 19 August from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. Each candidate will be given three days window from 21 August, 2017 to 24 August, 2017 for securing admission based on OJEE NEET allotment result. Students who wish to withdraw the seat allotted can do the same before 5 August, 2017. A Mop up counselling will be conducted in case vacancy arises after the second round allotment from 26 August to 28 August, 2017. The new session will commence on 1 September, 2017.

There were total 937 seats under 85% state quota candidates, out of which 736 seats were allotted in the first round of allotment. A total of 201 seats of state quota along with 33 seats of All India Quota are still left to be allotted, of which the result will be declared tomorrow on 19 August at 10:00 am.
