No polytechnic entrance exam in Kerala, admission on merit basis

Department of Technical Education Kerala has notified that students aspiring to get admission to the polytechnic/diploma institutions in the state, can now fill the application forms for the same. The admission to the candidates will be given on the basis of their merit score in grade ten and twelve. There is no separate exam for the admission process.

The online application form submission will be done at http://polyadmission.org/ (official website).  The candidates are requested to read all the instructions before filling the application form. The information which is to be filled in the form should be correct and thoroughly checked before submitting as misleading information may lead to disqualification the form. After the filling of form take a print out of it and keep it.

The process of application forms submission had started yesterday (May 15) and will end on 29 May, 2017. The entire schedule is given below.

The candidate has to submit the self-attested copy of the mark sheet of SSLC/THSLC or equivalent examination. A self-attested copy of the nativity certificate should also be attached. Other than that self-attested copy of community certificate, medical certificate and income certificate should also be attached.

Eligibility for Kerala Polytechnic 2017

A valid Indian citizenship should be possessed by the candidate. Other than that, valid domicile of Kerala is required. Only those candidates will be eligible for commercial practice/Management course and Engineering/technology who have passed SSLC exam along with Maths or Science.
