The result of Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2017 will expectedly be announced by next, however, no certain date has been fixed for the declaration of the same, XLRI- Xavier School of Management said in conversation with ExamsWatch, putting an end to the ongoing speculations. Earlier today, EW staff enquired XLRI officials since the news of XAT 2017 results getting out now and then were doing rounds online.
And the fact that XAT scores and OMR answer sheets were released yesterday is a near indication that result might come sooner than expected.
It was being said that the result will be out by January 31, and then some said by January 25-26. However, XLRI discarded those rumours saying that we haven’t set any date for result announcement yet and results, whenever out, will be put online at the official website (www.xatonline.net.in).
While the official answer key has been already out for self-evaluation, the candidates would have the basic rough idea where do they stand? Now, it’s time to get official percentile to know whether or not they will get a call.
XAT, conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur, is the second most prominent exam after CAT. Around 125 colleges come under XAT which makes it eye-catching entrance exam. Top B-school like SP Jain, XIMB, GIM, FORE, GLIM etc. accepts the score of XAT for further admission process.
XAT, known for its transparency, has uploaded the official answer key. The candidates who are getting around 30+ are biting their teeth for the final result for the further process to convert their dream for XLRI. And, the candidates who are getting a bit less are ready for the other top institutes.
As per the previous trend, XLRI has also uploaded the OMR answer sheet and score of individual candidates before the actual result.
It is highly anticipated that the XAT result would be released in the last week of January. The candidates who are a bit satisfied with their score with the official answer key, they should start preparing for the further process rather than wasting time for the final result.
Further process of XLRI would be checked on essay and GK which were asked in the second part of XAT paper, while for other B-schools, the essay and GK part would not be considered. Candidates are advised to brush-up current happenings and some abstract topic to excel in GDPI process.
