NIACL AO admit card released for December 17 prelims exam

New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL) has released the admit cards to aspirants who have applied for it’s Administrative Office (AO) 2016 recruitment examination. The admit card for NIACL AO exam were issued today and will remain available till December 17, 2016. NIACL AO (Generalist, Scale-I) exam will be conducted on December 17 and will be considered as phase-I. The exam will be in online mode.

Candidates may download their NIACL AO admit card/ call letter for online exam from the official website ( within December 1 to December 17, right before the commencement of the exam. Notably, candidates will not be dispatched admit cards via post and to download admit card online is the only way. On the day of the exam, carry at least 2 printout of your admit card with an valid identity proof.

The exam will be held for the ongoing recruitment of 300 administrative officers in the company. While phase 1 is on 17th December, the mains will be in January 2017. Candidates who will qualify phase 1 will be called to appear for mains exam.

NIACL AO phase-I (preliminary) exam will consist of objective test carrying 100 marks. The test will be of 1 hour duration and will be CBT having 3 sections with English section carrying 30 marks, reasoning ability having 35 marks and quantitative aptitude section also having 35 marks.

The candidates will require to obtain minimum marks required to qualify as per the cut-off set by the company. The ratio of 1:15 (vacancy to candidates) will be followed while shortlisting candidates for mains exam. The mains exam will be both objective and descriptive type and will also be conducted online. And then there will be interviews. The marks of descriptive test will not be considering in the final merit but it is mandatory to pass.
