The National Board of Examination has postponed the NEET PG 2017 exam being held at 6 centers in Chennai on Monday. The entrance exam is being conducted across the country for admissions to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses. Aspirants who were to take the entrance exam in Chennai earlier today faced several difficulties in reaching the test venues due to heaving rainfall amidst the Cyclone Vardha hitting the State. The morning session was, however, administered and only the afternoon session was deferred.
NBE Executive Director Dr. Bipin Batra shared the news on Twitter.

The official notification regarding the postponement of the exam has been published at the official website of NBE. The afternoon session of NEET PG 2017 scheduled to be held in Chennai was deferred due to inclement weather condition. The aspirants who were allotted below six venues to take the exam will now have to appear for the test tomorrow.

- Dhanalakshmi Engineering College, Manimangalam Post
- EduSurge, Alwarpet
- EduSurge, Ambattur
- Prometric Testing Private Limited, Kodambakkam
The candidates will have to report at allocated test centre at 1 pm sharp on 13 December. The Board has also said that the candidates will have to carry their respective admit card for 12th December exam as it would remain valid on December 13.
The exam had been earlier postponed on December 6 after the sad demise of TN Chief Minister J Jayalalitha and the candidates who had their exam on December 6 were allotted fresh exam dates.
