NEET 2017 OMR sheet displayed

CBSE NEET 2017 was held on 7th May in 10 languages across the Country, and while this was done as an attempt to give equal opportunity to rural students, the same caused delay in the post-exam activities of NEET. As soon as the Hon’ Supreme Court ruled in the favour of CBSE, it became clear that there will be no further barriers for the Board and hence the post-exam activities can commence. Following the same, CBSE notified yesterday the dates for the release of OMR sheets’ images and answer keys. As of today, 13th June, NEET OMR sheet has been made available by CBSE.

NEET omr sheetAs we had earlier reported that CBSE will first display the OMR sheets & NEET 2017 answer key and the results will be declared only after giving the students a window to submit the representations against the OMR sheet and answer key. As per the dates notified, CBSE has uploaded the images of candidates’ OMR sheets. To check the NEET 2017 OMR sheet, the candidates are required to login to their account through Candidate Login page in CBSE NEET website (www.cbseneet.nic.in) by using the registration number and password.

As CBSE is also expected to finish the post-exam activities in time and already over a month has passed, the Board said the images of OMR sheets and answer keys will be made available for only two days. As per the information bulletin, the OMR sheets and answer keys were to be available for at least three days. The OMR sheets are now available and with it, the window to submit the representations/ objections will remain open up to 14th June, till 5 pm.

NEET 2017 OMR Sheet – How to submit objections ?

The students can check NEET 2017 OMR sheet images after logging into the CBSE NEET website. The link to submit the objection will be available in the candidate page, along with the instructions on how to submit the objections. Since the facility is open only till 14 June (5 pm), one should check for discrepancies as soon as possible.

NEET 2017 official answer key will be uploaded by CBSE on 15 June and it will remain available for only two days. The students will have to check and submit the representation (if any) till 5 pm, 16 June. The students will have to make a payment of Rs. 1,000 per response/ per question challenged, as per the payment method mentioned in the instruction booklet. The fee paid by the students will be refunded, in case the challenge is accepted by the Board.

NEET 2017 has around 95,000 seats on offer, comprising of 65,000 MBBS seats and 25,000 BDS seats. As much as 11,38,890 students had registered for the test, while around 95% attendance was recorded. NEET 2017 was conducted at 1,921 test centers in 103 cities.
