The answer keys for NEET 2016 phase 2 exam have been released by Aakash, Allen Kota along with paper analysis and solutions for all sets. Allen Kota has published the NEET 2 answer key for all sets, paper solutions for Physics, Chemistry, and Physics along with analysis.
Aakash Institute has uploaded the answer key for code WW/AA (E) only, though the keys for rest of codes will be uploaded soon.
The answer keys for NEET 2016 is being released for phase 2 examination held today on July 24. As we are updating this page live, Aakash Institute has uploaded the question papers and NEET answer key 2016 (phase 2 exam) will be out around 6 pm today. Most coaching institutes including Allen Kota, Resonance, Career Point, Pathfinder and few more will be publishing the answer sheets by today evening only. The second phase of the most debated entrance examination – National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) has been conducted today across the major cities of the country. NEET, as per the Hon’ Supreme Court’s directive corresponds as a single common entrance test for admissions to medical and dental courses offered at all private institutions across the country. Apart from seats available in private medical/dental colleges, the test also implies for admissions under 15 percent All India quota (as per AIPMT) in all institutions along with the colleges of those states who have not conducted their own CET.
As the test has concluded across all examination centres, the aspirants are willing to check the NEET answer key. The test consisted of three subjects, namely, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The Biology section consisted of two sections – Botany & Zoology. The Physics and Chemistry section consisted of 45 questions each and Biology of 90 questions. Each question carries 4 marks and as the negative marking will apply, the wrong response would result in minus 1 mark. We will be providing live updates on NEET here at this page.
Over 6.5 lakh aspirants had appeared in the first phase of NEET held on May 1 and as the students who wished to take another shot at the test were allowed to appear in the NEET-II, as much as 3.4 lakh students applied for the same, forfeiting their candidature for NEET-I. As per the official statistics, 1.3 lakh fresh applications were received by CBSE for NEET-II, that takes the total number of applicants to 4.7 lakh which have taken the test today.
The test held on May 1 and today (24 July) consisted of papers designed in four sets – A, B, C & D. CBSE had earlier notified that all the proceedings related to the test will be done once both the phases of the test concludes. The OMR sheets will be displayed from August 4 to 6 and NEET answer key (official) for both tests will be released on August 7. The students would be able to match their answers with the help of answer key and estimate the marks they will be scoring in the test.
While CBSE would release the answer key in two weeks, the premier coaching institutes would soon be releasing the answer keys prepared by their experts. The coaching institutes like Resonance, Aakash Institute, Allen, Career Point, Pathfinder among others are expected to release NEET answer key within few hours and the answer keys will be hosted at their respective official sites. The results of those 4.7 lakh medical aspirants who took the phase 2 test, will come to know their marks on August 17. The results of NEET 2 exam will be published on aipmt.nic.in as per the schedule notified.
As the academic session is to start from September, it was decided that NEET result for both the tests would be announced by August 17 so that the counselling process could be finished well in time.
