NATA result 2017 NATA result declared at www.nata.nic.in score card

NATA 2017 result or NATA result 2017 for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2017 has been announced by the Council of Architecture (CoA). NATA 2017 result was earlier scheduled to be out on June 10 but the Council released the same one day ahead of the schedule. Candidates who appeared for NATA can view their score card at the official website www.nata.nic.in now. Candidate’s unique login details be required to check the results.

NATA result 2017In a press note issued here today, the Council said that out of 37,246 candidates who registered for the NATA 2017, 24,540 candidates have emerged qualified. While 42,098 had registered to take NATA this year, in actual only 37,246 had taken the test. There are around 24 thousand seats in about 450 recognised institutions across the country that offer 5 year (B.Arch) Bachelor of Architecture course, most of them accept NATA scores for taking students in B.Arch course.

The note further says that NATA 2017 result and score card were uploaded at 5 pm on June 09, 2017 and candidates can download their score cards now for further use in counselling. No physical score card will be sent to the candidates in this regard. The Council of Architecture had conducted NATA 2017 examination held on April 16, 2017 on pan India level, in 69 cities, and at one centre in Dubai.

The Council had already released the answer keys of the examination which would have given a fair idea to candidates about their marks but the final result has been displayed today. The council had set some norms a candidates needed to qualify NATA 2017.

Qualifying marks:

These 3 conditions should be met by the candidates to qualify NATA 2017.

  1. A candidate must secure at least 25 percent (30 marks out of 120) in the MCQ paper (part A).
  2. At least 25 percent (20 out of 80 marks) should be secured in the drawing test.
  3. The overall qualifying marks would be notified later on the basis of post-exam statistics and council’s decision. Factors such as number of candidates, difficulty level etc come into play while setting the overall cut off.

Candidates can now check their results at official website www.nata.nic.in. The schedule for further proceedings has not been notified yet.
