Nabard grade a result 2017 and grade b result 2017 has been declared by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). The Prelims exams for Grade A (Assistant Manager) and Grade B (Manager) were held on 5th and 6th August 2017 respectively. NABARD had earlier released the advertisements for the recruitment of 91 posts of Assistant Manager (Grade A) and 17 posts for Manager (Grade B). The online application process for Grade A began from 19th June till 10th July. In the case of Grade B, the applications began from 16th June till 7th July. The applicants will be able to check their prelims result by visiting the official website- nabard.org. Going back to the last year record, the result was published within ten days of the prelims. The expected date for declaration of NABARD result 2017 was 15th August.
There are three parts of selection process – Preliminary, Main, and Personal interview round. The applicants who qualify in the prelims will be able to download their admit card for the mains. The applicants who get qualified in the Prelims exam will be eligible for the Mains exam. NABARD Mains Exam (Grade A and B) will be conducted on 29th August and 30th August respectively. The main exam’s marks and Personal Interview marks will only be considered for the selection merit.
The intention behind conducting prelims exam is to select applicants (screening process). As per the result criteria, the ratio of 1:25 will be confirmed. The pattern of Grade A and Grade B prelims exams included objective type sections such as Reasoning (20 questions), English language (40), Computer knowledge (20), General Awareness (20), Economic and social issues (40), Agriculture and rural development (40), and Quantitative aptitude (20). Each question carried one mark i.e. Grade A prelims included total 200 questions.
The expected cut-off list for Grade A prelims exam for General category in respective sections might be 6-7, 15-17, 11-12, 8-9, 14-16, 15-18, and 5-6. For SC, ST, and OBC, the cut-off list is expected to be in respective sections might be 4-5, 11-12, 9-10, 6-7, 10-13, 12-14, and 3-4. In short, the overall expected cut-off for General, OBC, SC, and ST will be 123-127, 112-117, 102-107, and 95-100 respectively. The last year’s Grade B cut-off list for the General category, OBC, SC, ST was 159.25, 148.75, 139.5, and 147 respectively.
There is negative marking scheme of 1/4th score i.e. for each incorrect answer, 1/4th marks will be deducted. Separate cut-offs will be published for different categories and sections. Cutoff may be done on scores in test and on total obtained score.
