‘My Home Group’ is Hyderabad based company which deals into constructions and real estate cement, power and education has taken initiative to offer scholarships worth Rs. 13 lakh to the meritorious students of Class 10. To avail the benefits of the scholarship, the students must be enrolled in government schools located in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
My Home Constructions Pvt Ltd Managing Director, Jagapathi Rao told the media personnels present that the Scholarship has been named as ‘Dr J Rameswar Rao’s Maha Scholar by My Home’. Dr.Rameswar Rao Jupally is the founder of the renowned My Home Group. For the year 2015, 180 meritorious students from 60 Government schools of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have been selected to be awarded the scholarship. The Scholarship Scheme has been launched with aim which is to promote education and encourage the students to pursue more studies.
The scholarship scheme was launched on 60th birthday of founder and chairman of ‘My Home Group’ J Rameswar Rao. Further Managing Director Jagapathi Rao added that in the coming years surely the number of scholarships offered will be increased and more government schools will be covered in both the states. Even CM KCR attended the birthday celebrations of My Home Group Chairman which were held in Hyderabad.
Talking over formulating the new Scholarship Scheme, Jagapathi Rao said, “The Group will take interest in the development of these children so that they can have a bright future and support themselves, their families and the community at large.”
Managing Director further added that they last year they have spent somewhere around Rs 10 crore towards corporate social responsibility and such spending’s towards the social development will continue to grow every year.
The Group actively participates in programs pertaining to rural development by building infrastructure and installing water purification plants, education, health, social causes, environmental sustainability, etc, he added.
Earlier in the year 1991, under the aegis of My Home Educational Society Little Scholar School was established in Hyderabad which also has a branch at Mallacheruvu. It is an English Medium co-education school which is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi). The students from classes Nursery to Class 10 are being taught here.
‘My Home Group’ has also planned to set up Homeopathy College in the month of October. The Jeeyar Integrated Vedic Academy (JIVA) will be regulated by Dr J Rameswar Rao, the founder and Chairman of My Home Group. The college will be amongst the renowned Homeopathy colleges in India which will offer 100 seats. The college has been given sanction by the Homeo Council of India due to its good infrastructure and faculty.
