MU OET 2015 Exam Application Forms Released

Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU OET) is the admission test exam for B.Tech & M.Tech 2015. Important Dates of MU OET 2015 examinations are out now. Application Forms are available online for interested candidates for admissions in different B.Tech programmes at the Manipal University.

Receipt of applications for the various B.Tech programs will end on March 28, 2015. Only for B.Tech in Automobile Engineering the last date for form submission is kept up to is June 19, 2015. Interested candidates for different undergraduate courses in engineering can apply online in the official website of the Manipal University.

MU OET 2015

Manipal University located at Manipal in Karnataka is a deemed university with over 28,000 students from across 52 countries. There are 19 colleges and 8 departments of the university in India. Admissions in any of these colleges and departments have to be through MU OET entrance examination every year.

Department of Public Health, Manipal
Department of Sciences, Manipal
Department of Atomic and Molecular Physics, Manipal
Department of Advanced Pharmaceutical Science, Manipal, and

Eligibility Criteria-

Each candidate applying for the MU OET 2015 has to meet the standard eligibility criteria to fill up the MU OET 2015 Application Form. The criteria and the application procedures are vividly mentioned in the official website of Manipal University.

Applicants should have passed the 10+2/IB/A Level/American 12th grade/or equivalent examinations from recognised universities.
Applicants must have scored 50% marks minimum in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and the other optional subjects.
Mathematics, English and Physics are compulsory subjects where the candidates need to quality achieving the desired cut off marks.
Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology has to be amongst the optional subjects in Class XII /equivalent exams

Applications Online

Registration for the application form fill up is online. Every candidate gets an application number with a password in his registered Email ID after successful registration. A payment of Rs 1600, which includes both the application fee and the entrance test fee has to be made by the candidate. The candidates have to choose any of the two test centres for writing the test from the list of centres provided.

For payment done through demand draft, the details have to be filled in the application form. The other particulars have to fill by the candidate after transfer of the payment. The photograph and scan copy of signature has to be uploaded in the application form. Once submitted the MU OET 2015 application is completed.

Applicants are always advised to save the details of the form fill up and print the completed application form to keep a hard copy for any future reference or correspondences. Demand Draft of Rs 1600 has to be made in the favour of Manipal University which will be payable at Manipal or Udupi.

Selection Procedure of MU OET 2015:

As per official notice, 50% is the qualifying marks in MU OET every year. The selection is entirely based on the ranks obtained in the all India entrance test. Admit card is provided to the registered email addresses of each applicant. If not received then the applicant can write at the following address with the copies of his application form and other credentials to get the admit card mailed to his home address via email.
