MPSOS MPOnline has released the admit card for Ruk Jana Nahi exams 2017 of class 10 and 12 students who had registered. Ruk Jana Nahi time table 2017 has been revised, check the details below.
The much-hyped scheme rolled out by the education department last year is back to the rescue of those students who could not clear the Class 10th & 12th board exams this year. As the board results were announced by the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) on May 12, the announcement of Ruk Jana Nahi scheme was also made. The application process under Phase 1 ended on May 18 as the exams will commence on June 19.
The results of Madhya Pradesh board exams have been on the lower scale constantly and this has been the reason behind increasing suicides amongst students in the State. To curb the situation, an important step was taken by the state government last year which shaped up in the form of ‘Ruk Jana Nahi’ scheme. Under the scheme, the failed students of Class 10th & 12th were allowed to take the re-exams as an attempt to save the precious academic year.
Students of Class 10th who have failed in 2 or more subjects are eligible to submit their applications for reappearing for exams under this program. In the case of Class 12th students, those who failed in 1 or more subjects can appear for the exams under Ruk Jana Nahi yojana. The re-exams will be conducted by the Madhya Pradesh State Open School, Bhopal. MPSOS has revised the timetable of Ruk Jana Nahi exams for both Class 10th & 12th students. The Class 10th exams will be conducted in the first shift from 8 am to 11 am, while Class 12th exams will be conducted in the second shift from 2 pm to 5 pm.
MPSOS has revised the timetable of Ruk Jana Nahi exams for both Class 10th & 12th students on June 3 which can be checked below. The Class 10th exams will be conducted in the first shift from 8 am to 11 am, while Class 12th exams will be conducted in the second shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. Class 12 exams under the Ruk Jana Nahi scheme will also start from June 19, but the last exam will be on June 30. Below is the detailed timetable of Class 12th exams:
The main reason behind the Ruk Jana Nahi scheme has been the lowering pass percentage and the increasing number of accidents and suicides happening of board students after disappointing results. Going by this year’s result statistics, total 7,11,896 students appeared for Class 12th board exams, while 11,07,521 students took Class 10th board exams (both figures include regular and private students). As in the case of Class 12th, the overall passing percentage was 67.87 (Boys – 64.16%, Girls – 72.38%) for regular students, while it was just 27.81 for private students. For Class 10th, the overall passing percentage was only 49.86 (Boys – 48.53%, Girls – 51.43%) for regular students and only 10.52% for private students.
