MP B.Ed admit card 2017 issued, entrance exam begins next week

Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB or VYAPAM) is going to hold the online entrance test for admissions in B.Ed., M.Ed. and other courses and the admit cards have been issued today for all the applicants. MP B.Ed. admit card 2017 is now available at the vyapam portal www.vyapam.nic.in.

VYAPAM will be conducting the online test for admissions in various courses including B.Ed., M.Ed., B.P.Ed., M.P.Ed. (all two years), B.Ed.-M.Ed. (Integrated three years), B.A. B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed. and B.L.Ed. (four years course) for the academic session 2017-18. Around 50-60 thousand candidates apply for the entrance test each year. This year, the applications were filled online from April 17 to May 1 and the admit cards (TAC) have been issued today.

The online exam for B.Ed., M.Ed. (two years) & B.Ed.-M.Ed. (Integrated three years) will be conducted on May 27 in a single shift from 3 pm to 5 pm, while the exam for B.P.Ed., M.P.Ed. courses will be held on May 28 from 3 pm to 4 pm. The exam for B.A.B.Ed., B.Sc.B.Ed., B.L.Ed. (four years course) was initially scheduled for May 28, however, as per the revised schedule, the exam will now be held on May 29 from 9 am to 11 am.

MP B.Ed. Admit Card 2017: To download MP Bed admit card 2017, the candidates are required to visit the VYAPAM portal. After clicking on the respective admit card download link, the candidates will have to enter 13-digit online application number and date of birth. Once the admit card is displayed on the screen, one should take the printout of it and carry it to the exam center on the exam day.

The online exam will be conducted in 12 cities, namely, Bhopal, Gwalior, Raisen, Indore, Jabalpur, Ratlam, Satna, Katni, Ujjain, Sagar, Sidhi and Mandsaur.

The exam pattern is different for all the courses, below is the brief outline of the exam pattern:

For B.Ed. (two years) & B.Ed.-M.Ed. (integrated three years), the exam paper will have 100 objective type questions. Each question will carry 1 mark.

  • General Mental Ability – 30 questions
  • General Awareness – 20 questions
  • General Hindi and English – 20 questions (10 each)
  • Teaching Aptitude – 30 questions

For M.Ed. course, the entrance test will also have 100 questions distributed among sections as follows:

  • General Mental Ability – 15 questions
  • General Awareness – 15 questions
  • Language Comprehension – 20 questions
  • Research Aptitude – 20 questions
  • Teaching Aptitude – 30 questions

The entrance test for B.P.Ed. will be of 40 marks, while the candidates will have to take a compulsory fitness test of 60 marks. The merit list will be drawn out of total 125 marks, wherein 25 bonus marks will be there.

Similarly, M.P.Ed. written test will be of 50 marks and the compulsory sports proficiency test will carry 50 marks. The merit list will be drawn out of total 125 marks, including 25 bonus marks.

There are around 57 thousand seats available in the institutions across the State, of which 75 percent seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to the Madhya Pradesh State. Rest 25 percent seats are open for the candidates coming from other States. The result of B.Ed. entrance test will be declared on June 23, while the merit list will be out on June 26. The counselling process for admissions will commence from July 1.
