Maharashtra CET Cell conducted the online CET for admissions into Law courses (LL.B-5 years and LL.B-3 years) on Saturday & Sunday and now the candidates are waiting for the Law CET answer key. Mah CET LL.B-5 years was held on May 20, while for LL.B-3 years, the test has been conducted today. Maharashtra Law CET answer key 2017 for both the tests will be available shortly and will be updated here.
Initially, CET Cell had decided to conduct the test in April, however, following the delay in publication of notification, the exam was pushed back by a month. Last year, CET Cell had conducted the common entrance test for law admissions for the first time in June. For the admissions in the academic session 2017-18, the online applications were opened on March 31. After an extension in the last date, the window closed on May 1 and the admit cards were issued to all the eligible applicants on May 10. Around 35-40,000 candidates have taken MH CET Law 2017.
Both the test – LL.B – 3 years & 5 years comprised of 150 multiple-type questions, each carrying 1 mark, however, the exam pattern differed for each test. The entrance test for LL.B – 3 years course was divided among four sections:
- Legal Aptitude and Legal reasoning – 30 questions
- General Knowledge with Current Affairs – 40 questions
- Logical and Analytical Reasoning – 30 questions
- English – 50 questions
While the CET Law for LL.B. – 5 years had the questions distributed among five sections:
- Legal Aptitude and Legal reasoning – 40 questions
- General Knowledge with Current Affairs – 30 questions
- Logical and Analytical Reasoning – 40 questions
- English – 30 questions
- Mathematical Aptitude 10 questions
The question paper was set up in two languages – English and Marathi. The candidates were given two hours time to solve the question paper. As the test had no provision of negative marking, the candidates answered maximum questions to increase the chances of getting good marks.
The results of MH CET Law 2017 are poised to be declared on or before May 30, but before that, the candidates can estimate their result with the help of MH CET Law answer key. While there is no confirmation whether the DHE Pune or CET Cell will publish the Law CET answer key or not, some of the coaching institutes may provide the same. As soon as the answer key is published, we will update the same here.
The results of MH CET Law and the merit list will be updated at official portals- dhepune.gov.in and mahacet.org. Based on the CET results, the counselling and seat allotment process will be carried out in June and August.
