MH CET (Medical) result is to be announced tomorrow, 5 June. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for MBBS, BDS, BAMS and other Health Science courses commonly known as MH CET (Medical) was conducted on 7 may 2015 across 507 exam centers in the State. Around 1.89 lakh students appeared in the CET that was taken to fill the seats in various medical courses offered by Government/Municipal Corporation/Government-aided/Private Medical Health Science Institutions in Maharashtra State.
Directorate of Medical Education & Research has conducted the Common Entrance Test under the guidelines framed by Government of Maharashtra and is going to announce the MH CET 2015 result on 5 June. All the medical aspirants will be given particular rank as per their marks and the merit list will be published online. The institutes will also announce the cut off marks for each course separately.
The entrance exam was conducted smoothly across the examination centers and in accordance with the schedule, provisional answer keys of MH CET 2015 were released on 20 May, OMR answer sheets of all candidates were also uploaded on 25 May. Now its the time for declaration of results and hence students will be able to access MH CET (Medical) result on 5 June at the official web portals www.dmer.org and mhcet-exams.co.in.
For open category candidates, the minimum marks to qualify has been set as 50% while for reserved category and Person with Disability (PWD), minimum cut off marks are 40% marks when Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) are taken together. As the CET paper was easy this year, it is highly anticipated that the cut-offs will be higher than previous years.
DMER will also prepare the MH CET merit list combining the marks (score) and ranks of all the candidates, admissions to all available seats will be done strictly in accordance with the merit list. Once the merit list will be published, qualified candidates will be asked to fill the preference form at designated centers (Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad & Nagpur). After the completion of the counselling process, the final selection list will be released online.
