June 13, 2017: MG University first allotment 2017, MGU CAP allotment has been released on June 12. Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Kerala had scheduled the first degree allotment result on 13th June, but did so one day prior. The students can now check MG University degree allotment 2017 from the official website cap.mgu.ac.in.
MG University had published the trial allotment and provisional rank list on 7th June, after which the students were given the facility to modify the options entered by them while applying for degree admissions. As of now, MGU First degree allotment 2017 has been published and the students can check their allotment status by logging into the Candidate’s panel.
The students who get admission on their first option are required to deposit the fee applicable to the course in the allotted college at the time of admission. The fee payment is for securing the admission in the allotted seat. The students will be provided a confirmation slip by the allotted college authorities after verification of documents and completion of admission formalities. The students failing to report to the allotted college within the stipulated time and date will lose their allotted seat and will not be considered for further allotments.
The students belonging to SC/ ST category can take provisional admission based on the MGU First degree allotment result as special allotment will be conducted by the University for them.
Those students who take permanent admission in the allotted college within the prescribed date limit are advised to cancel their remaining higher options. The higher options should be cancelled on or before 16 June by such students. Others can further rearrange or delete the options on 15 or 16 June. MGU will publish the second allotment results on 19 June.
The students can download Allotment Memo after remitting the fee due to University through the online payment gateway. The allotment memo will be generated for only those students who will remit the University fee. To download MG University allotment memo, the students can click on the link ‘Click here to print your Allotment Memo’ after logging into the website. The allotment memo is to be produced before the Principal of the allotted College at time of reporting.
The students are required to report to the allotted college on or before June 14. At the time of reporting, the students will have to carry the following documents for verification:
- Allotment Memo
- Date of birth certificate
- Transfer Certificate (TC) from the Institution last attended and Conduct Certificate.
- Mark lists of all parts of the Plus Two / equivalent examination.
- Eligibility Certificate from Mahatma Gandhi University, in the case of candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from other Boards/Institutes/governments, except CBSE/CISCE
- Migration Certificate, if applicable.
- Caste certificate in the case of SC/ST candidates.
- NCC/NSS Certificates in original, if applicable.
