MG University allotment 2016: MG University is going to publish first allotment result today on 20 June in the afternoon. The admission process to undergraduate courses in the affiliated colleges under Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam will begin after the publication of allotment result.
The status of MG allotment 2016 will be available at www.cap.mgu.ac.in online for participating candidates.
More than 40 thousand candidates had registered to get seat in their sought after course in college under MG University. Currently there are 7 government colleges, 4 aided colleges, 9 aided backward community colleges, 36 aided forward community colleges and around 80 self-financed colleges. The admissions to these colleges are to be filled through MG CAP allotment 2016 based on the merit of students. There are 8 more women college which will be taking admissions through centralised allotment process of MG University.
The trial allotment was announced last week on 14 June, but only to give candidates an idea about the merit they can expect and to familiarize them about the process. The real allotment is being published today which will allocate seats to the candidates according to the options preferred by them during registration.
The candidates can view their allotment status by logging into homepage at cap.mg.ac.in using their application number and password.
The candidates who will get a seat allotted, would be required to download the MG University allotment memo after remitting the fee due to University through the online payment gateway system. Only the candidates who will pay fees (General- Rs 555 and SC/ST- Rs 50) will be able to download the allotment memo.
After the publication of MG University first degree allotment 2016, candidates will have to report to the college they’ve got seat allotted to, and complete the admission formalities. The candidates who will be satisfied by their allotment, can make their admission permanent by remitting the fee and cancelling higher options. However, if candidates are satisfied with the seat allotted, they can still go for next rounds of allotments.
The second allotment will be out on 28 June after the completion of admissions from first allotment. 3rd allotment will be published on 5th July and 4th allotment will be published on 13 July.
Candidates will also get a chance through supplementary allotment due publication on 20 August if they don’t get any seat in these four rounds of allotment.
The final allotment will be released on 19 September and admissions will be closed on 22nd September 2016.
