All Indian Management Association has once again extended dates to register for Management Aptitude Test for year 2015. Aspiring ones already feeling themselves left out for not registering yet, still can exercise their applications.
The period to complete application process has been extended for the second time as AIMA extended dates for first time after original schedule ended and now the registrations will come to an end on September 1, 2015. All the Interested candidates rather than waiting for the last minute rush should register instantly online for the computer based test. However, it must be noted that dates have been extended only for the Computer based test and not for the pen and paper based test.
As per the notification released by All India Management Association for MAT 2015 initially the last date for registration was August 21, 2015. It was then extended for four day and the last date for registration after first extension was August 25, 2015. Again the organising body extended the last date of registration for the second time in a row and now it has been scheduled to end on September 1, 2015.
AIMA MAT 2015 is a Management Aptitude Test which is conducted every year in two modes:
- Mode 1: Computer Based exam: It has been scheduled to be conducted on September 12, 2015 in 12 centres of the selected cities and states across the nation.
- Mode 2: Pen and Paper Based exam: It has been scheduled to be conducted on September 6, 2015 in 22 centres of the selected cities and states across India.
Management Aptitude Test which is popularly known as MAT is a standardised test which enables the students to take admission in Business Schools and other management courses across the country which are being offered by the Top B-schools or Allied Schools. The test is every year conducted under the aegis of Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The test has been declared as a National Level Test in the year 2003. MAT Score is accepted by various National and International B-Schools to offer admission in the management courses under postgraduate level. MAT is considered as a passport to around 600 B-Schools located in India.
Candidates interested in pursuing Management Courses and want to seek admission in the B-School on the basis of MAT Score, then you can take the exam as many number of times as you wish provided the eligibility criteria is met.
Candidates who have a graduate degree in any discipline or are waiting for their final results can apply. As such there is no prescribed age limit to appear in MAT exam yet care should be taken of that your age is not less than 21 years at the time of applying.
The candidates during the extended dates cannot apply via offine mode. So, online mode is only applicable at present wherein candidates need to visit the official website and fill in the Application Form. While filling the application form online candidates also have to upload their signatures and recent passport size coloured photograph.
