Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has enabled the facility of making corrections in the online application form of Karnataka CET 2017 (KCET) from March 14 onwards. The corrections in the online submitted application form can be made till 5 pm on March 31. Only those candidates will be able to make changes in their application forms who have paid the application fee.
In order to make changes in the application form, registered candidates need to go to the official website (www.kea.kar.nic.in), click on “CET-2017 – Edit option of Online Application”, and thereafter they need to enter their login ID, password and security code.
An one time password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidates. To make the corrections in the online application candidates have to enter this same OTP. Prior making the corrections, candidates must also bear in mind to make a note of all the particulars which they want to change, as the correction/editing has to be done in one go.
After making all the required changes in KCET 2017 application form, the candidates have to select/tick mark the “Declaration” button and click on ‘Submit’ button, without which the changes can’t be processed further.
Once the candidates submit the application form after making the changes, they must take print out of the application form. It’s also very important that candidates make the required changes before the last date, as no corrections will be allowed after the application correction deadline gets over.
As of now, the application process for KCET 2017 is over. The last date for Karnataka CET application form was extended till March 8. Candidates were able to pay the application fee till March 10. The application form was made available on January 27 in online mode, while the last date for submission of application form was February 27.
