Maharashtra Board has released Class 10 Board Exam Time Table, theory exam to begin from March 01

Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune has released the timetable for the board exam for both Secondary School Certificate Examination and Higher Secondary Certificate examination 2018. The board exam will be conducted in February-March 2018 period. In case of HSC students, the exam will be conducted between February 21 and March 20, 2018. For SSC, the exams will be conducted between March 1 and March 24, 2018. 

The Maharashtra board exam will conduct their exams in the evening session. Previous year approx 7-8 lakh students appeared for the HSC board exam of Maharashtra. This year too, it is expected the same number of students may appear in these examinations. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education conducts the HSC and SSC Examinations in the state of Maharashtra through its nine Divisional Boards located at Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur, and Ratnagiri.

Maharashtra Board SSC Timetable

In the board exams 2017, there were a total of 2,710 examination centers across the nine divisions of Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amaravati, Nashik, Latur, and Konkan. For the first time in the year 2017, the state government has made it mandatory for students to fill in their Aadhaar cards number to appear for the exam.

The detailed schedule for SSC is as follows: On March 1, 2018, in the first half 11:00 am to 2:00 pm – First Language exam will be conducted while in the second half 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm French exam will be conducted. On March 3, 2018, in the first half 11:00 am to 2:00 pm – Second or third Language exam will be conducted. On March 5, 2018, in the first half 11:00 am to 2:00 pm – Hindi and Hindi (Composite) exam will be conducted while in the second half 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm vocational course exam will be conducted. On March 6, 2018, in the first half 11:00 am to 2:00 pm – Second or Third language exam will be conducted while in the second half 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Second or third language (composite course) exam will be conducted. On March 8, 2018, in the first half 11:00 am to 2:00 pm – English (first or third language) exam will be conducted. On March 10, 2018, in the first half 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Mathematics Paper I (Algebra); Arithmetic (For Special Needs Divyanga Students) exam will be conducted while in the second half 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm General Mathematics Paper I exam will be conducted.

Maharashtra Board SSC Time Table Released

On March 12, 2018, in the first half 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Mathematics Paper II (Geometry) exam will be conducted while in the second half 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm General Mathematics Paper II exam will be conducted. On March 14, 2018, in the first half 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Science and Technology Paper I will be conducted along with Physiology Hygiene and Home Science (For Special Needs Divyanga Students) exam. On March 16, 2018, in the first half 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Science and Technology Paper II will be conducted. On March 19, 2018, in the first half 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Social Sciences Paper I (History and Political Science) will be conducted. On March 21, 2018, in the first half 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Social Sciences Paper II (Geography and Economics) will be conducted. On March 22, 2018, in the first half 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Information Communication Technology will be conducted.
