LPUNEST result 2017 declaration today for selected courses

LPUNEST result is going to be declared today at the online portal nest.lpu.in. LPU NEST result to be announced on May 4 (today) includes the exam results of B.Tech, B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, Applied Medical Sciences (Phase IA), Design (Phase II), Law (Phase II) and MBA (Phase II). The results will be announced in late evening today, the LPU result link will be updated here soon.

The Lovely Professional University National Eligibility and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) is an entrance as well as Scholarship test for admission into various programs offered by the University. Since the LPUNEST covers multiple courses and the admission process is also different for each course, the results are announced on different dates for each course.

The Phase IA exams under LPUNEST 2017 were conducted from April 10 to May 2, while Phase-IB exams are scheduled to be held from May 20 to 31, wherever necessary. LPU NET results will be announced on May 4, while the online counselling will begin from tomorrow, i.e. May 5.

After the declaration of LPUNEST result today, counseling and admission process will be conducted. The online counselling will be carried out in three rounds with the first round commencing tomorrow. Online Counselling and Seat Allocation will be done from 5th May 2017 onwards. The seats in different courses will be allocated to the students based on their preference. After the seat is allocated, the students will have to deposit the fee through online mode or manually by visiting the university campus/ Camp Office. Below are the steps to participate in the admission process based on LPUNEST result:

  • Get your scorecard/ rank.
  • Fill the seat preferences (one can give 5 preferences which can vary in stream and program)
  • The applicant will be allotted a particular program in the first round of counselling, based on the availability of seat and preferences filled by the applicant.

The upgradations of the allotted seats will be done after the first round of online counselling. For filling the vacant seats, the University will hold another two rounds.

For those students who are allotted a seat, they will have to download the allotment letter and deposit initial payment of Rs 10,000 to confirm the seat. For more instructions, the students are advised to refer to the University website.

The candidates scoring marks equal to or more than the cut-off marks set by the University will be eligible for admissions in different programs being offered in the LPU. The University will announce three separate merit lists; first for top 10 percent, another for next 10% (11% – 20%) and the third merit list for next 15% (21% – 35%).

Once the LPUNEST result is announced, the students will have to login to the University website to check their result and rank.
