Lovely Professional University still the best preference for toppers

Lovely Professional University has once again set a record and this time, it is with respect to the number of admissions for the new academic year. This year, more than 2100 students have taken admission in the university who have scored above 90% marks in their qualifying examination. Out of these 2100, 35 students have scored almost 98% in their last examination, whereas 500 students have scored 95% and rest 1600 have scored 90% and above in the last examination that they appeared for.

The Chancellor of LPU Mr. Ashok Mittal said “India has been a major seat of learning for thousands of years, with the first university in the world ‘Takshashila’ and great inventors & scientists like Aryabhata, Bhabha and more. We want to take our university on the same strides by bringing back the same ancient glory to India. On these lines, we are happy to enroll a large number of meritorious students this year. This will help us in realizing our dream of making LPU a research oriented global university with the sharp-minded students at work on society needed projects.”

He further added, “This year, students who have taken admission in BTech, Honours, and many other programmes also appeared and cleared University admission & scholarship test ‘LPU NEST’. Scholarships are offered to deserving candidates so that money may not be a hindrance for quality students in getting quality higher education.”

This year has been very lucky for LPU as the varsity has achieved a lot this year. The University has received a lot of awards and accolades in many domains by the top authorities of the country. Not only this, the students have done very well in the field of placement also. This year, thousands of the university students got placed in well-known companies. The alumni of LPU are associated with well-renowned companies like Google, Microsoft, and Apple with a package of around 1 crore.

Recently, two students, Neelakantam and Meera joined LPU in the B.Tech programme. They said, “Both of us belong to a distant state of India situated thousands of miles away from LPU. We have joined LPU as we are certain that we will definitely write a successful story of our own by getting the world class education and requisite training here. As we have gathered, LPU vision and mission are great and in consonance to our thoughts.”
