Digital India – the program launched by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to see India as a fully technical country. Giving wings to his dream, Smt. Smriti Irani, the Union Human Resource Development Minister launched a sub program of digital India -“KV Shaala Darpan” program. This is a program that will make our students with their parents technically updated. In Delhi Smt. Smriti Irani declared that this program will bring a new outcome of e-governance, good governance, and digital India.
We know that in India, Government schools are not considered as best places to make a child’s future as compared to a private school. Thus to improve the standards and to take them to a different level, this program will be very useful.
With the help of this program, as said by Smt. Smriti Irani, parents will get each and every report of the student that what is their attendance, how progressive the child is, health issues, participation of a child in curricular activities, his annual report etc. from classes Ist to XIIth. This program will result as a boon for parents because nowadays both the parents are busy in their works and they hardly get time to connect with their children. It is also beneficial for the students as they will learn through e-tutorials and learning aid to upgrade their knowledge.
Students might get worried, since due to such plans parents misinterpret the real need and unnecessarily pressurize their children. But Smt. Smiriti Irani requested the parents to not to make such facility a wrong concept of over expectation.
Another point of launching this system of KV Shaala Darpan programme was that it will bring precision in the organization and administration. Not only this, it will also conserve time, paper and over sparing of money. This point of view was presented by Minister of State for Human Resource Development, Shri Upendra Kushwaha. He included that parents need to be more interested and co operative with the children to have an overall development of their children.
He said that the administration has finished one year and this system dispatched by KVS in its first year is a result of prime ministers dream and he termed it a “history”.
The senior officers of Ministry of HRD as well as Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan also became a part of this occasion. To show that this programme is not a mere presentation or scheme but a reality, a documentary film was presented. In this film it was clarified that how it will improve school’s general scholastic conveyance frameworks and how the information will be upgraded to the students, parents, teachers, alumni and the school management. The task will interface each of the 1100 Kendriya Vidyalayas.
