Report: Kerala TET answer key will be released for all four category exams, i.e. Category 1, 2, 3 & 4. Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET 2017) conducted by Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has been completed today and now the candidates will have the facility to check KTET answer key 2017 category-wise.
Pareeksha Bhavan conducted KTET 2017 for category 1 and 2 on 12th August, while the exam for category 3 and 4 has been conducted today on 19 August, 2017. According to the notification, the answer key for all the exams will be published immediately after the exam. Candidates will be able to check KTET answer key 2017 on the official website soon.
The KTET 2017 Category 1 exam was conducted for the candidates aspiring to teach Lower Primary Classes. In the same manner, Category 2 was for upper primary class teachers, Category 3 for high school classes, while Category 4 exam for language teachers (up to upper primary classes). Each Category exam was conducted as a single paper in separate shifts and carried 150 marks.
Once the KTET answer key is released, the candidates will be instructed to submit their representations. All the complaints and queries regarding the answers keys will be accepted within 5 days from the date of publication of answer keys, Pareeksha Bhavan said in the notification. The complaint will have to be addressed to The Secretary, Pareeksha Bhavan, Thiruvananthpuram, with the supporting document. The Secretary, Pareeksha Bhavan and the experts will examine the complaint, and will not entertain any objection relating to the answer keys after five days from publication of result.
Going by the previous years’ trends, it can be safely said that the KTET answer key 2017 should be released by 22nd August. The Pareeksha Bhavan will put the answer key for all 4 category papers on its official portal, and the same will be released in pdf format.
Based on the KTET answer key 2017, the candidates will also be able to estimate their marks beforehand. After taking the representations against the tentative answer keys, the final answer keys will be prepared, based on the which the result will be announced. The candidates scoring more than 60 percent marks in the KTET Exam will be declared qualified. However, the SC/ST/OBC/OEC candidates can qualify the exam with 55 percentage. For PH and visually impaired candidates, the qualifying marks is 50 percent.
Candidates can check all the details regarding marks and eligibility status on the website. The qualified candidates shall bring the document of verification to the district Education Officer. The top rank holders who score the most marks in KTET 2017 exam will be awarded with the cash prize of Rs 20,000 (1st Rank), Rs 15,000 (2nd Rank) and Rs 10,000 (3rd rank), for all categories. All the names of the top rank holders will be published on the website along with the result.
