KIITEE Application Form Date Extended: Check Status

KIIT application form 2015 can be filled again now as the last date to submit forms has been extended till 5th April 2015. The University published this notification of changes in scheduled dates and new details past week. However KIIT exam date 2015 remain unaltered and the exams will be taken within the prescribed duration only provided by official notification. Look out below for detailed information.

KIITEE 2015KIIT University conducts own entrance exams for admission in its different offered courses. The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam popularly known as the KIITEE is the admission entrance exam for engineering and engineering related courses. Dates of KIIT University for its entrance exam have been released. All the entrance examinations of KIITEE 2015 will be held this year from 21st April to 30th April. Application forms for the entrance examinations had been released way back from December 2nd 2014. The exams will be conducted on an All India Level, across 120 centres of the nation.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT University) is a deemed University and an autonomous body in Bhubaneswar, in the state of Odisha. KIIT has many institutions under it. These are KIIT University, Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences and Institute of Social Sciences. KIIT also offers courses in Engineering, Medicine, Bio-Technology, Management, Law, Film & Journalism, Fashion, Rural Management, Sculpturing and Computer Application.

Aspiring students who still have not submitted their applications must mind the last date to apply which is approaching nearly. The forms are available at www.kiitee.ac.in – the official website for KIIT entrance exam and go through the notification carefully before proceeding any further to fill their forms. Every detail must be filled out correctly to assure the acceptance of the application form by University. Admission in any course in KIIT through KIITEE 2015 is subjected to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria given below:

  • Age Limit- Date of Birth of the applicant must be on or after 1 July 1994.
  • Education Qualification- Applicant must have passed 10+2 in the year 2013/2014 or is appearing for 2015 board exams. Minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

KIITEE 2015 Important Details:

While application form submission dates have been extended, there is no change in the KIIT 2015 exam date. The important dates of online issuance of forms and submission are given in the table below. The exact date for exam will be provided in admit card which will be available and issued to download soon after form submission process.

The seat reservation chart for KIITEE 2015 is given below:

Scheduled Caste (SC)- 15%
Scheduled Tribe (ST)- 7.50%
Physically Challenged (PC)- 3%

Admit Cards: Admit card for KIITEE 2015 will be hosted to the applicants in the official website of KIIT and applicants have to download it with their user id and password created at the time of form submission. In case there is any problem in downloading the admit card, the candidate can write a letter to KIIT University with Photocopy of the Application Form, one photograph, photocopy of X Pass Certificate / Mark sheet and details of the Post Office, receipt of postal dispatch, date of dispatch.

Exam Pattern: All examinations will be online. It will be a 3 hours examination of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of 120 questions. Each section will have 40 questions and 4 marks are allotted for each question. Negative marking f 1 marks will be imposed for each wrong answer.

Result: KIITEE 2015 exam results will be hosted on the official website of KIIT where applicants can check their results with their application number and date of birth. Seat allotment for each category will be as per the merit list as well as candidate desire of courses.
