Kerala TET Application form 2015 available, register before 24 August

Department of General Education, Government of Kerala has released the official notification of Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test (KTET 2015). Last date for filling the online application forms for KTET (Step I) has been set as 24 August 2015. From 26th August 2015, online application Step 2 would commence. As the test would be conducted in the month of October, admit cards would be released on 15 September.

ktet application form 2015Kerala TET has been divided in four categories and hence the test would be conducted in four shifts. Below we have accumulated the information on educational qualifications that are required to appear for the test.

Category I (Lower Primary Classes) – Candidates must have completed Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary with atleast 45%marks and 2 years TTC or Diploma in Elementary Education.

Category II (Upper Primary Classes) – Candidates must possess B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. degree with 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/TTC or one year B.Ed.

Category III (High School Classes) – Candidates must have B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. degree with 45% marks and one year B.Ed in respective subject.

Category IV (Language Teachers up to Upper Primary Class) – Candidates having qualifications for the post of language teachers – Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Specialist teachers – arts and crafts and Physical Education.

Application fees of Rs 500 for General & OBC category candidates and Rs 250 for SC/ST and differently-abled category candidates needs to be paid. Through online process, KTET application form 2015 must be submitted to Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan. It must also be noted that, print out of the application, fee chalan, copies of the certificates are not needed to be submitted.

Many examinations like SSLC, ALEVEL, TTC, KGTE, KTET THSLC etc are organized by Pareeksha Bhavan. Quality requirement of teachers will be ensured by the State as according to the RTE ACT 2009 and the test would be conducted under the guidelines laid by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

KTET 2015 would be organized in two days, KTET-1 and KTET-2 on 3 October while KTET-3 & KTET-4 would be held on 17 October. All the candidates must keep in mind that the last date of application forms is 20 August 2015 and hence application forms must be submitted prior to the last date.
