As for plus two results, those are expected in the second half of the May month.

The Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations were conducted from March 8 to March 31. The exams were originally scheduled to conclude on March 27, however, due to reports of leaking of Maths paper, the exams ended on March 31.

Reportedly a little over 4.55 lakh students wrote their SSLC annual board examinations this year who are awaiting their results. Inn 2016, the number was 4.74 lakh. The process of admission to plus one classes will commence after the announcement of SSLC results which is held via single window system HSCAP, by DHSE, government of Kerala.

DHSE has notified that instead of scores, students will be awarded grades this year. The grading position will be on a 9 point scale as outstanding, excellent, very good, good, above average, average, marginal need improvement.

After the announcement of SSLC results for March 2017 exams, the board will organise supplementary examinations for failed students, known as Save A Year (SAY) exams in the month of May. The applications for these examinations would be notified at the time of general SSLC results only and five days will be given to students to apply for the SAY exams. The results of SAY exams would then be announced in June. This will give the failed students advantage to pass and get admission to plus one this from this academic year itself.
