KEAM second allotment 2016 result declared; CEE Kerala

CEE Kerala has announced the second allotment results for KEAM 2016 on cee.kerala.gov.in online. KEAM 2nd allotment 2016 can be accessed now. 

keamKEAM 2nd allotment result will be published today, on July 10. The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala government had notified the commencement of registrations for KEAM second phase of allotment from July 5, 2016. As per the KEAM allotment results, candidates who will be allotted a seat will have five days to submit the fee and report at the allotted institution.

The allotments to engineering, architecture, MBBS, BDS and other medical allied courses are based on the ranks candidates have secured in the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical entrance test (KEAM) held in April. The results of the entrance test were announced separately for engineering and medical streams on May 24 and June 1. A total of 55,914 candidates were provided with a rank for engineering admissions while the tally stood at 1,04,786 for medical aspirants. The first allotment results were published on June 30 and the activities related to the second phase of allotment to professional degree courses began on July 5, 2016.

KEAM allotment is being done for MBBS, BDS and other medical allied courses in addition to engineering and architecture courses under the second phase. The candidates who were earlier allotted a seat in first phase allotment will be considered for allotment to their higher options in KEAM second allotment. As the option confirmation process ended on July 9, the KEAM allotment result for second phase will be published on 10.07.2016 (evening), the official communication says.

Candidates who receive allotment as per KEAM second allotment results will have remit the fee/balance fee by July 15. The fee can be paid in one of the designated branches of State Bank of Travancore (SBT) or through online payment. Upon the successful payment of fee candidates will have to report before the respective college authorities to join the allotted college/course.

The allotments are being done for admissions in 8 government medical colleges, 5 government dental colleges along with engineering, architecture, and medical allied courses.

CEE Kerala has also released the detailed schedule for reporting after the announcement of KEAM 2nd allotment result which is available at the official web portal www.cee-kerala.org. Candidates who will be allotted a seat in engineering course, will have to report from July 11 to 14 depending on the branch they have been allotted while the candidates allotted a seat in architecture courses will have to report on July 12, 2016, at 1.30 PM to the respective institution. Candidates who could not secure admission on the notified dates can do so by reporting to the allotted institution on July 15. Candidates allotted to medical and allied courses can join the allotted colleges on any date from July 11 to 15.
