KEAM Allotment Result Published at cee-kerala.org

Update at 11.00 PM, 30 June 2016 :  KEAM Allotment 2016 result has been published by CEE Kerala. Students can access their KEAM allotment status at cee-kerala.gov.in.

Update at 9.25 PM, 30 June 2016 : CEE Kerala has earlier announced that KEAM allotment result (1st phase) will be published in the evening. Students were waiting for this time as the publication of KEAM allotment 2016 will pave a way to the admission process, but as it was witnessed on the day of mock allotment publication, CEE Kerala has not yet released the allotment result. As of now, the web portal cee.kerala.gov.in is showing the same message “KEAM 2016 : 1st phase allotment result will be published today” and another portal cee-kerala.gov.in is working very slow and has not updated the allotment result.

The first allotment result of KEAM 2016 is poised to be declared today on June 30 in the evening. Timing hasn’t been confirmed by CEE Kerala but considering that process of option entry will be closed in the afternoon, KEAM allotment 2016 can be released in the evening.

It seems that CEE Kerala decided not to make further changes in the schedule after it altered the counselling schedule for option registration and trial allotment publication.

keam allotment resultThe option registration for engineering admissions started on June 23 and was slated to end on June 28. But as the option registration for medical courses was included, the deadline to submit the preferences of course/college was extended. With the revised schedule of KEAM counselling, the students will be able to do option registration till June 30, at 12 PM. Earlier, the private engineering institutions had denied surrendering their seats to CEE Kerala, but as the pact was signed with around 98 private engineering colleges, 50 percent seats in these institutions will now be filled through KEAM counselling. The CEE Kerala will make KEAM allotment for filling 57,887 seats in 175 Engineering colleges.

Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Entrance Test, popularly known as KEAM was conducted from April 25 to 28 for admissions in various professional courses. The results of engineering entrance test were announced on May 24 as the rank list of medical and engineering were released on June 1 and June 20 respectively.

As much as 78,169 candidates qualified the engineering entrance exam while 55,914 were included in the rank list. As the official data revealed, 1,04,786 candidates qualified medical entrance test. The trial allotment result was published on June 28 so as to intimate candidates about their eligibility to get allotment to their preferred branch and college. Candidates, therefore, were given two days time to alter their options.

With the closing of option registration process at 12 PM on June 30, CEE Kerala will compile the data and release KEAM 1st Allotment by evening. KEAM Allotment result will be available at www.cee.kerala.gov.in and candidates will be able to access their allotment status by logging into the Candidate Portal by using their application number and roll number.
