The CEE, Kerala has announced the exam date for KEAM 2017. The most sought-after entrance examination will include only engineering stream this time as the admissions in medical courses will be done through national-level NEET. KEAM 2017 would be held on April 24 & 25 in a single shift.
The Commissionerate of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala will organize the KEAM 2017 as the engineering entrance examination. The entrance exam will be held across 14 district centers in Kerala and also at test centers in Mumbai, New Delhi and Dubai.
As per the practice, the students seeking admission in the engineering courses at one of the institutions across the State will have to take the KEAM 2017 entrance exam. Based on the test scores, the CEE Kerala will prepare the rank list to facilitate the admission process.
As per the government orders, there will be no state-level entrance exam for Medical & Allied courses and all such admissions will be done through NEET. However, preparation of the Kerala state rank lists and the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) for both Medical and Engineering streams will be done by CEE Kerala. Hence, the candidates must necessarily apply online to both the CBSE and CEE, Kerala.
KEAM 2017 will comprise of two papers. The final schedule is as follows:
- Paper 1 (Physics & Chemistry) – April 24, 2017
- Paper 2 (Mathematics) – April 25, 2017
Both the papers will be conducted in a single shift of 150 minutes from 10 am to 12.30 pm. The prospectus of KEAM 2017 will be released in the first/second week of January.
