The aspirants of Karnataka Teacher’s Eligibility test (KARTET) can now check their performance by the official answer key. The official answer key of KARTET has been released on the official site i.e. kartet1617.caconline.in.
After a series of delays, the CAC (Centralized Admission Cell), Bangalore, has conducted exam on 15th January 2017 which was initially happened to be on 18th December 2016. It was also postponed to the scheduled date of 8th January, and then it got finally conducted on 15th January 2016.
The examination has been conducted for Primary Stage and Elementary stage in two languages Kannada and English other than the language paper. The Primary stage is for the recruitment of the teacher for the primary level i.e. class I to V while the Elementary stage is for the elementary stage i.e. class VI to VIII. The examination was conducted successfully in two shifts i.e. morning and afternoon separately for the Paper I and Paper II. Now, the candidates can roughly check, whether they are qualified or not using answer keys.
The qualification for the general candidates is 60 percent while for the SC, ST and C-1 candidates, it is 55 percent.
The result is most likely to come in February, exact dates have not been specified by the CAC. After the result, the qualified candidates will be provided with the eligibility certificate which will be valid till seven years from the date of the issuance of the eligibility certificate. Qualified candidates can apply in the school owned or managed by the state government/local bodies.
