PGCET 2017 answer keys have been released now. The provisional answer keys of all the papers under Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET 2017) have been finally published by KEA. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) had conducted the entrance test on 1st & 2nd July and while usually the authority releases the answer keys three days after the exam, the same schedule was not followed this time. However, since the answer keys have been published now, the candidates are advised to check PGCET 2017 answer key.
KEA has published the provisional answer keys of PGCET 2017 separately for all 13 papers, namely, Civil/ Chemical/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Environmental Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Textile Technology/ Architecture/ Polymer Science and Technology/ Biotechnology/ Mathematics and Computer Science/ MBA/ MCA. The candidates can check PGCET answer key through the link mentioned in front of the respective subject.
For submitting the objections, the applicant will have to send an email to KEA at firstname.lastname@example.org. The objections must be accompanied with the justification supporting it and the last date to send the objections is July 17, before 5.30 pm. While submitting the objections, the candidates should clearly mention the subject, version code and question number. More details can be checked the KEA website, kea.kar.nic.in.
The objections submitted within this time frame will be placed before the experts’ committee by KEA and the final decision on the objections will be sought. The decision will lead to the preparation of final answer key, based on which the entrance test result will be declared. The results will be declared by judging the answer sheets of candidates on the basis of final answer key. As the answer keys have been published late, it is expected that
Karnataka Examinations Authority has conducted Post Graduate Common Entrance Test for merit-based admissions to 1st year/ 1st semester MBA/ MCA/ M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Arch courses and 2nd year Lateral Entry to MCA course. PGCET applies for admissions in all government/ University/ Private Aided/ Private Un-Aided Professional educational institutions. Based on the marks scored by the candidates in PGCET 2017, KEA will prepare separate merit lists for each course and all the admissions to the seats will be based on the PGCET merit list. Reportedly, around 40,000 students have taken PGCET 2017.
