KEA Diploma CET: DCET Result 2016 Declared On

DCET result for Diploma CET 2016 has been declared today as scheduled by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Over 30 thousand aspirants who were awaiting the results and took the entrance test, can check the results now.

Karnataka Diploma CET result is going to be announced today on July 12. Candidates who have taken the entrance test on July 3, would be able to access their DCET result at after 5 PM. The meritorious students thus rewarded rank in Karnataka DCET 2016 will be eligible for admissions to 2nd year/3rd semester of Engineering courses and 1st year of Architecture courses under the Lateral Entry scheme.

karnataka dcet 2016 resultKEA will host the Karnataka Diploma CET 2016 results on its official site after the scheduled announcement at 5 PM on July 12. The merit list of DCET 2016 will be based on the marks obtained in Diploma CET-2016 and marks scored in the final year examination of fifth & sixth semester examinations leading to diploma in the relevant branch of Engineering taken in equal proportion. For admissions to Architecture course, merit list will be based on the score in the qualifying examination in all subjects and valid NATA score taken in equal proportion.

KEA had also released the provisional answer keys of the entrance test and invited objections from candidates. With the last date of submitting objections ended on July 8, KEA is all set to declare the Karnataka DCET 2016 result on July 12. The final merit list will also be published separately for both Day and Evening engineering colleges. KEA has also updated the draft seat matrix for both Day and Evening colleges, the final seat metrix will be released on July 19 along with the fee structure.

Further moving ahead with the admissions process, KEA has released the document verification schedule. Candidates will have to report to any of the KEA’s 15 helpline centres along with their original documents as per the schedule. The document verification process for Mysore evening colleges will be held on July 16, followed by Bangalore evening engineering colleges on July 16 & 17/ For day colleges, candidates will have to report to the helpline centre from July 18 to 23 as per their rank. The option entry and allotment would be done in two rounds, with the option entry for first round starting on July 22.

Around 27 thousand candidates have taken the exam and are awaiting the declaration of DCET 2016 result, would be able to know their result and rank by the evening. Seats in over 722 government, aided, unaided and minority engineering and architecture colleges are on offer through DCET 2016.

DCET result 2016 announced via KEA and can be checked separately in the form of rank list for day and evening colleges of Karnataka and Mysore.
