The latest update is that KEA will announce CET 2016 allotment, KCET real seat allotment result today on 1st July. The allotment will be published on www.kea.kar.nic.in at 8 pm today.
KEA has delayed first real CET allotment 2016 results by one and KCET first allotment in Karnataka will now be declared on 1st July, as revised notification has stated. The option entry window will now remain open until June 30 (3 pm) and seat allotment result will be published on 1st July after 8 pm.
CET mock allotment 2016 and results of Karnataka KCET 2016 mock allotment remain has been declared by KEA on kea.kar.nic.in now. As the uncertainty had prevailed over the day and KEA had notified to publish allotment of CET 2016 at 2 pm. However, it might be late but KEA CET allotment results were published just minutes ago by KEA.
Earlier, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has failed to notify aspirants of any updates on the declaration of mock allotment and it’s quite possible that rest of schedule might also face delays.
KEA Karnataka will announce mock CET allotment 2016 results today at 2 pm. The mock allotment result for Karnataka CET will be declared today on June 28. KEA will publish KCET Karnataka CET mock allotment 2016 at 2 pm on kea.kar.nic.in website.

The mock allotment was earlier scheduled to be out on June 23, but considering the large pool of candidates and uncertainty over medical seats, KEA extended the dates for option entry to June 27. Now as Karnataka KCET mock allotment result would be out today, candidates will have one last chance to modify their options. The candidates can change/edit/modify their options till June 30, 3 pm.
Of the total 1.78 lakh candidates who applied for the test, only 1.71 lakh had appeared for CET, which was held on May 4 & May 5.
According to the data received for different courses, 41,530 candidates acquired the eligibility for admission to medical and dental courses, 1.27 lakh for engineering, and 1395 for architecture courses. Apart from that, 99,791 are also eligible for admission to Indian System of Medicine (ISM) and Homeopathy courses, 96,341 for agriculture, 99,788 candidates for veterinary courses and around 1.31 lakh for B.Pharma and Pharma-D courses at overall.
Following the modifications in options, KEA will publish real allotment on July 1, after 8 PM, the revised schedule mentions.
The schedule of Karnataka CET counselling has been changed several times, keeping the interest of students in consideration. Now the spat between government and private institutions not coming to an end, students remain at the loosing end.
Karnataka has the highest number of medical colleges in the country with 7,355 MBBS seats. There are 18 government medical colleges in the state. The provisional seat matrix of medical and dental colleges was published online on June 25. Admissions for 2491 medical and 602 dental seats is being done on the basis of students’ performance in Karnataka CET 2016.
As private colleges have agreed to give their seats under government quota and do away with fee hike, deemed universities and minority colleges have still not agreed to give their seats. There are 300 medical seats in three minority colleges and 120 seats in six dental colleges. State government has approached Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority Professional Colleges Association (KRLMPCA) to give 25 percent of these seats under government quota.
