JUET result 2016 declared- Jammu University’s portal is www.juet.in

Jammu University notified that the result of JUET has been declared and score cards have been published on juet.in in evening around 7 pm.

Jammu University has announced that result of JUET 2016 will be declared today on 21 June. JUET result 2016 will be published at www.juet.in for the exam that was held on 12 June. Around 12 thousand aspirants are reported to sit for the test, who will be able to check the results on official website once it’s announced.

Jammu University Entrance Test has been conducted one shift this year from 10 am to 12:30 pm for admissions to several of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the University in colleges holding it’s affiliation. At present, there are 157 temporary/permanently affiliated colleges to Jammu University spread across various districts of Jammu region.

The test venues were set up across all three regions- Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh of the state to facilitate large number of students. More than 8 thousand candidates sat for PG courses and rest of UG courses. Last year, more around 11 thousand had taken the test.

Around 12 thousand aspirants appeared to take JUET this year at about 20 test venues set up by University.

The admission to the University is facilitated on the basis of marks scored by candidates in the entrance test. The score/marks obtained by a candidate will be displayed in result of JUET 2016 along with rank achieved. The rank will be taken into consideration while providing admission.

The University would not dispatch score cards of any candidates. Students who took the test will have to download their score card from official website only after logging in with their application number and password. Result will also be availed roll number wise and rank/merit list will be published today.

Total of 57 courses are being offered for admissions through JUET 2016 including UG and PG programmes from Arts, Business studies, education, law, Life Sciences, mathematical sciences, Sciences and Social Sciences streams.

The University has also availed 26 nodal departments for admission to programmes offered through JUET-2016.

In it’s official notification, the University has mentioned that result will be published on 21 June. However,  final approval is needed from JUET result publishing core committee. It’s almost sure that results will be hosted on jute.in- official site today.
