JSSC SI admit card, Sub Inspector admit card 2017 has been released officially as the exam is set to commence from 25th August. Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) issued Police Sub Inspector Admit Card on 17th August, in accordance with a notice issued earlier this week. Jharkhand Police SI admit card will not be sent via post, hence all the applicants should refer to JSSC official website to get JSSC SI admit card 2017.
JSSC had notified to fill 3,019 posts of Sub Inspectors in Jharkhand Police Department. The applicants who have provided the application form duly completed in all the aspects along with the examination fee will now have to undergo preliminary test. JSSC SI examination will be conducted from 25th August to 10th September. Jharkhand Combined Police Sub Inspector Competitive Examination will be held in 3 phases at various centers of Jamshedpur, Dhanbad and Ranchi.
Firstly, one-third of the applicants will appear for a computer based exam which will commence from 25th August and will continue up to 29th August. JSSC SI admit card has been released for these candidates on the official website on 17th August. Secondly, the next one-third of applicants will appear for the computer based exam scheduled to be held from 31st August to 4th September. Thirdly, the remaining applicants will appear for the exam from 6th September to 10th September.
JSSC SI admit card for next two phases will be released on 22nd August. If any applicant finds mistake related to information in his/her admit card, he/she shall bring the error forth to the concerned authority for correction.
The selection process for JSSC Sub Inspector recruitment is separated into four divisions, namely, Preliminary exam, Main exam followed by Physical Test and Medical Test. The prelims and mains will be computer-based exam having Objective and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
There will be overall 120 questions in JSSC Sub Inspector preliminary exam and the given duration will be of 2 hours. The preliminary exam will comprise of topics such as General Knowledge (30 questions), Jharkhand State Knowledge (30 questions), General Mathematics (20 questions), General Science (20 questions) and Mental Ability (20 questions). Each question will carry 3 marks and for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
The candidates declared qualified in the prelimianary exam will be called for Main exam. The mains exam will comprise of three papers. After being shortlisted in the main exam, the applicants will have to undergo a Physical Test wherein their height & chest size will be calculated followed by a running test. They will be filtered out on the basis of gender based parameters i.e. Male applicants – 10 K.M in 60 Minutes whereas, female applicants – 05 K.M in 40 Minutes. After the selection in the Physical test, the Medical Test will be held which will determine the well being of the applicants on the basis of health.
To familiarize the applicants with the online mode of examination, JSSC has also provided mock test facility which will help the candidates prepare for online computer based exam. The applicants can download JSSC SI admit card from official website.
