JSSC has released the admit cards for it’s CGSCE 2016 examination which will be conducted on August 21.
Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) admit card for Combined Graduate Standard Competitive Examination are available at the official website and the candidates who have successfully registered for the test can now access their admit card.
JSSC was constituted by the state government to organize the recruitment process for Group B & C vacancies and Combined Graduate Standard Competitive exam is one of the major examination conducted by the Commission in this regard. The notification for JSSC CGSCE 2015 was notified to fill around 1150 vacancies (including regular and backlog vacancies) and as per the notified schedule, the preliminary examination would be conducted on August 21, 2016. Around 137 applications were rejected by the Commission on the account of incomplete application forms submitted by these candidates. The selected candidates will be recruited under the pay band of Rs 9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs 4200.
The JSSC Combined Graduate Standard Competitive examination is divided into two parts – Preliminary exam and Main exam. CGSCE Preliminary exam will be conducted in one shift on 21 August and the paper will consist of 150 multiple choice questions. Each question will carry three marks, while one mark will be deducted from the total score for each wrong answer. The question paper will consist of 6 sections – General Knowledge, General Science, General Mathematics, Mental Ability, Computer Knowledge and Jharkhand State releated knowledge.
The candidates will be shortlisted for Main exam on the basis of their performance in the Preliminary exam. Around 17,250 candidates will be shortlisted for Main exam. The Main exam will be conducted in two shifts of 2 hours each and both papers would consist of 150 questions.
