O.P. Jindal Global University is supposed to host the Times Higher Education (THE) BRICS and Emerging Economics Global Academic Summit which is to be held from 1 to 3 December this year. As a partner with O.P. Jindal, Times Higher Education has selected International Institute for Higher Education and Capacity Building (IIHED) for organizing Times Higher Education BRICS and Emerging Economics Global Academic Summit.
Times Higher Education World University Ranking
Times Higher Education (THE) magazine in Britain publishes university rankings every year. The organization has been ranking the global universities by adopting methodology in consulting readers, editorial board member and also with Thomson Reuters. The magazine has collaborated with Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) to rank the world university back since 2004-09. The organization now comprises the worlds overall reputation ranking.
Times Higher Education is a weekly London based magazine and works alongside BRICS & Emerging Economies to generate more accurate data on university rankings. Mostly the magazine covers the reports based on the educational matters. One can easily get news and issues of various university across the globe.

Naveen Jindal, Chancellor of O.P Jindal Global University had announced on Friday that THE has decided to organize the Global Academic Summit at their University which is scheduled to be held in the last month of this year. Mr. Jasti Chelameswar, Honorable Judge of Supreme Court who was present in fourth convocation stated that “Human society lives amidst conflicts, turmoil and destabilization of system through unlawful activities”.
Justice Jasti also added that money making should not be the only purpose of education. “Human nature does not restrict to any code of conduct”. Stressing on his words, Justice Jasti Chelameswer encouraged children to study law which would help to build a peaceful society.
Kailash Satyarthi, Nobel Prize winner said that it is the responsibility of all the people of society to safeguard the child rights. Satyarthi stated that people should put more stress on building dreams of a child rather denying them. He said, “An adult centric development focuses only on the present while child centric development is aimed at the future”.
