Jharkhand TET (JTET) 2016 result announced on jac.nic.in

JTET result 2016 has been announced for the exam held on November 20. Candidates can check the Jharkhand TET result on www.jac.nic.in now.

As per the reports, a total of 2,52,734 candidates had applied for JTET 2016, the last state level TET exam was held in the year 2012 in which around 1.6 lakh candidates had participated. The decision to conduct JTET 2016 was taken by the Directorate of Primary Education, Jharkhand in April this year and accordingly the applications from eligible candidates were submitted in September and October. Keeping up with the notified schedule, the admit cards were issued on November 10.

JTET 2016 has been conducted as two levels (papers), where level 1 exam was for determining the eligibility of a person for teaching primary classes (Class I to V) and level 2 was for determining the eligibility of a person to teach upper primary classes (Class VI to VIII). Jharkhand TET level 1 exam was conducted in the morning shift from 9.30 am to 12 noon, followed by level 2 exam from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.

Both the exams carry a weightage of 150 marks and are divided as:

JTET Level 1 exam consists of five parts, each having 30 marks.

  1. Child Development and Pedagogy
  2. Language I (English/Urdu/Hindi)
  3. Language II (Regional/Tribal Language)
  4. Mathematics
  5. Environmental Studies

JTET Level 2 exam consisted of four parts, with first three having 30 marks each and fourth part having 60 marks.

  1. Child Development and Pedagogy
  2. Language I (English/Urdu/Hindi)
  3. Language II (Regional/Tribal Language)
  4. Science & Mathematics/Social Science (depending on the subject selected)

All the questions in JTET 2016 were objective type and each question had four options, out of which one answer had to be marked. The JTET answer key will help the candidates cross check their answers and estimate their marks. The result would be announced by JAC soon.

JTET 2016 Cut off marks are the minimum marks to be scored by the candidates in order to qualify the exam. The qualifying marks are 60 percent for all candidates, while it remains 52 percent for OBC/SC/ST/Physically handicapped candidates. The JTET certificate will be valid for a period of five years from the date of issuing the certificate.

  • Respected sir mujhe jtet 2013 me 87 and 2016 me 85 marks mile hai .sir general candidates ka cut off ke bare me v kuch sochiye sir.please sir .2 ,4 marks se disqualify candidate ke liye kuch kijiye sir.
