Jharkhand 12th result 2017 for science and commerce streams will be out at www.jharresults.nic.in after 2 pm today. Jharkhand academic council (JAC) will declare 12th/intermediate results 2017 on May 30, 2017 as per the reports. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check their results at www.jac.nic.in, jac.jharkhand.gov.in as soon as the JAC result link has been activated by the board. Even the Class 10 Board results are also expected to be declared on same date by the JAC.
In 2016, the JAC Jharkhand Class 12 Result 2016 was announced on the May 20 for science and commerce streams along with Class 10 result. The Board exams for Class 12 in Jharkhand were held from February 16, 2017 to March 7, 2017. Somewhere around 5 lakh students took the Class 12 exam in the Jharkhand state.
The senior officials from the JAC told “at the time when the result will be declared, candidates might witness some technical glitches or the website might not work properly or may get exceedingly slow due to heavy traffic. So, instead of getting frustrated, have patience. Instead, they should wait for a little while (5-10 min) before they try to access the site again.”

- Click on submit. Your result will be displayed on the screen.
It is advisable to download the result on their systems for future reference. Students should note that the online results are for informative purpose only and cannot be used in place original. This year, the state boards across the nation are declaring the results early for they have been directed by the Human Resources Development ministry to declare their respective class 12 results as early as possible to ensure easy calculation for national level entrance examinations for admissions to medical and engineering colleges.
JAC Result – 2016 Statistics
In 2016, a total 87307 candidates appeared for Jharkhand Class 12 Science Exam of which only 50955 were able to qualify, which is mere 58.36 percent. The Result took a fall of over 6 percent from the 2015’s record of 64.57 pass percent. The boys again lagged behind the girls with 57.79 percent, while the girls scored an overall pass percentage of 59.90 per cent.
Last year, a total of 49286 students appeared for the JAC Class 12 Commerce Exam at 459 centres across the state, of which only 31023 were able to qualify the examination. This translates to an overall pass percentage to 62.94 percent. As compared to the 2015 figure, the JAC Class 12 Commerce Result 2016 tumbled from 75.79 percent to 62.94 percent. Pass percentage of female students was 71.92% while that of boys it was 57.04%.
