JEECUP result 2017 for Uttar Pradesh Polytechnic entrance examination 2017 has been provisionally declared. The council here on Wednesday notified at it’s website that the provisional JEECUP 2017 result, Polytechnic result for the entrance test, with impression and answer key has been uploaded at the official websites www.jeecup.nic.in. Two days earlier, the council had released the recorded responses of the candidates answer keys for the JEECUP 2017, for the first time in the history of this examination and today it has released the provisional result and impressions.
It must be noted that this is the provisional result and final result is expected tomorrow. The Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JJECUP) had conducted the entrance test UP Joint Entrance Examination on 23rd April 2017 for all groups. The UP Polytechnic entrance exam 2017 for Group A of Engineering/Technology Diploma courses was held in morning shift from 9 am to 12 noon while the test for rest of the groups (B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I and K1 to K7 – Other Courses) was held from 2:30 to 5:30pm on the same day.
Around 3.66 lakh students were registered for JEECUP 2017, while around 89 percent actually appeared for the entrance exam. The test has been conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh for admissions to diploma/ post diploma and post graduate diploma courses in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, and other courses. Around 1.35 lakh seats in some 500 polytechnic colleges will be filled through UP Polytechnic entrance exam 2017. A total of 935 test centres were set up and the number of absentees recorded was over 37 thousand. Taking students’ analysis after the test, it was found that the paper was rather easy and not on par with previous year, said re-appearing ones.
The JEECUP result 2017 was expected to be declared in the third week of May, however, it was delayed by the Council. On 31st may, today, the Council has updated the provisional result, and answer keys. The students can access JEECUP result and final answer key from the official website www.jeecup.nic.in. To view the answer key, the students will have to log in using the roll number and question booklet number.
The JEEC has also updated the list of seats available in polytechnic colleges (branch-wise) for admissions in the academic session 2017-18.
