IIT Bombay has published JEE advanced result 2015 earlier today on Wednesday evening breaking the schedule. JEE advanced 2015 results were notified for publication at 10 am tomorrow, however, the authorities did not hold on to that surprising the students. The topper and the statistics have been uploaded at official site which states that a total of 26,456 candidates have qualified the entrance test. Topper list and complete stats will be discussed in next space.

The long process of organizing the toughest entrance exam for engineering courses would come to an end as the results for JEE Advanced-2015 would be declared on 18 June. More than 1.22 lakh students appeared for the test that was held on 25 May and all of them have been anxiously waiting for approximately one month for this day. The JEE Advanced-2015 results would be accessible at the official web portal www.jeeadv.iitb.ac.in and also at other leading result portals.
The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2015 was conducted by the seven zonal Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2015. Only the successful candidates would make their way for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs in the sixteen IITs and the Indian School of Mines (ISM). The institutions participating in the JEE Advanced-2015 are IIT Bombay, IIT Bhubaneshwar, IIT Banaras Hindu University, IIT Delhi, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Mandi, IIT Patna, IIT Roorkee, IIT Ropar and ISM Dhanbad. Indian Institutes of Technology are institutions of National Importance and were set up through Acts of Parliament to create a world class educational platform that contribute to the Nation’s progress and strength.
There have been several phases of the entrance exam after the conduct of test on 24 may and provisional answer keys for paper 1 & paper 2 were issued on 8 June. The final answer keys were published on 13 June as per the schedule. The results would be declared online on 18 June at 10 am followed by the publication of All India Rank (AIR) amd category rank. No candidate would be sent separate rank card. JEE Advanced rank list would be based on the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in both papers.
Choice Filling for admissions : The counselling for admissions would commence after the announcement of results. The choice filling or filling-in of choices would be done from 25 to 29 June. All the IITs and ISM would publish the list of courses for admission for academic year 2015-16 at the time of choice filling. Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) would conduct the entire seat allocation procedure and would display the mock seat allocation on 28 June.
However, the seat allocation would be done in three rounds, first round of seat allocation to be done on 1 July. Second and third round seat allocation would follow on 7 July and 12 July respectively. The academic session would commence from 16 July onward.
