Following the declaration of JEE Advanced 2015 results on 17 June, the online registrations for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) began today. Last date to apply online for JEE AAT-2015 is 19 June (upto 5 pm). Only the JEE Advanced 2015 qualified candidates are eligible to appear for AAT 2015. Registration can be done at the online portal for JEE Advanced 2015.
Those candidates who have secure an All India Rank or category rank in JEE Advanced 2015 can apply for JEE AAT 2015, and the qualified candidates will be eligible for admission to five year undergraduate B.Arch course.
AAT 2015 would be conducted only at Zonal IITs; IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee. The course is available at only two IITs; IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee.
There would be one paper of three hours duration (9 am to 12 noon). It is to be noted that no candidate would be sent separate admit card to appear for Architecture Aptitude Test, the admit card of JEE Advanced-2015 would be valid and is required to produce at the time of test. Candidates would also have to carry their own drawing and colouring kit for the test.
The results of JEE Architecture Aptitude Test 2015 would be announced on 25 June. The cut off marks for admission to B.Arch course would be decided by Joint Implementation Committee of JEE Advanced 2015 and the candidates are required to secure minimum cut off marks to become eligible for a seat in the B.Arch course offered by IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee. All the allotments would be based on the category-wise All India Rank secured in JEE Advanced 2015.
