Update 08:40 AM, 9 May: JCECE Board (JCECEB) will declare Jharkhand polytechnic result 2017 today expectedly. JCECEB PECE result 2017 were to be declared on 8 May as per the schedule notified by the JCEEC board at www.jceceb.nic.in, but so far the results are not out.
The details of JCECEB PECE polytechnic entrance exam result 2017 will be published on the official portal www.jceceb.nic.in. The exam was conducted on 30 April and the Polytechnic result was mentioned as 8 May in the information bulletin.
The anxiety of about 52 thousand candidates who sat for the Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination (PECE) will be over today as JCECEB will declare PECE result 2017.
To check your Jharkhand polytechnic (PECE) result 2017, visit www.jceceb.nic.in or www.jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in and look for the notice saying “PECE 2017 results”. Click on the link and enter the details required (such as name, registration number, date of birth). Your result/marks/score card will be displayed on screen which you should get printed out for further use. The rank list will also be displayed by the board today.
Dileep Kumar Jha, controller of examinations, JCECEB, told press that the counselling for polytechnic seats would commence almost immediately after the declaration of results. The schedule of counselling and process of admission will be notified to the students once results are out. He also said that candidates who appeared for PECE 2017 will be also able to view their answer sheets and question paper after the results as the board will upload them at the official website www.jceceb.nic.in. The final answer key will also be uploaded at the website. According to the official, the board has taken this step to ensure transparency in the process.
Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) conducts this polytechnic entrance test for facilitating admission to the polytechnic/diploma colleges in the state. Test venues in 7 district were set up for the smooth conduct of the exam. Test duration was of 2:30 hours and questions from Physics, Chemistry and Maths were asked, with each section having 50 marks as maximum obtainable.
There are about 13 government, 2 public-private, and more than 15 private AICTE/UGC approved polytechnic institutions in the state which offer close to 8 thousand seats when combined. The admission process will kick-off today when the Jharkhand Polytechnic result 2017 are out and the board notified of the counselling schedule. Candidates with top ranks will have better choices when it comes to the college and course on offer.
